Masterplan, Inc. was a leading independent service organization (ISO) that specialized in the maintenance and repair of medical equipment for healthcare facilities. The company provided outsourced clinical engineering services, managing a wide range of diagnostic imaging and biomedical equipment, including MRI machines, CT scanners, and anesthesia units. A key component of its offering was the proprietary I-Desk software, which allowed hospital administrators to monitor equipment performance and status in real-time. Masterplan was acquired by Aramark Healthcare in 2011 to enhance its clinical technology management capabilities.
