Maternity Care Coalition

Maternity Care Coalition (MCC) is a community-based non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of pregnant women, parenting families, and young children. Founded in 1980, the organization provides a wide range of services including home visiting, community education, and advocacy to address racial and economic inequities in maternal and infant health. MCC's programs focus on reducing infant mortality, improving birth outcomes, and supporting early childhood development through evidence-based interventions. The organization also operates Early Head Start programs and provides behavioral health services, including support for postpartum depression. By combining direct service with policy advocacy, MCC aims to create a more equitable healthcare landscape for families in Southeastern Pennsylvania.
