MATWIN

MATWIN is a French oncology-focused open-innovation platform and accelerator that supports the maturation and translation of cancer research projects from academia and early-stage startups toward industrial and clinical development. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Unicancer and acts as a bridge between researchers, entrepreneurs, pharmaceutical companies, investors, and technology-transfer organizations. MATWIN provides project evaluation, mentoring, tailored expertise, partnering support, and organizes the annual MEET2WIN oncology partnering convention. The organization is not a drug developer with its own disclosed therapeutic pipeline; instead, it helps identify, de-risk, and advance early oncology innovations, including therapeutic and diagnostic projects. Its role is best understood as ecosystem infrastructure for oncology innovation in France and Europe.
