Max Ritter Pharma

Max Ritter Pharma was a Swiss chemical-pharmaceutical company originally based in Zurich and later Gland, Switzerland. Founded in the mid-20th century, the company specialized in the distribution, marketing, and sales of pharmaceutical products, notably serving as the Swiss distributor for Guerbet's contrast media starting in 1963. Over its years of operation, it also commercialized dermatological products such as Cremol-P and Basodexan. The company was eventually acquired by Zyma SA, which through subsequent mergers and corporate restructurings became part of Novartis Consumer Health, GSK Consumer Healthcare, and ultimately Haleon.
