Mbale Clinical Research Institute

Mbale Clinical Research Institute (MCRI) is a premier clinical research organization based in Mbale, Uganda, specializing in high-quality clinical trials and health research within sub-Saharan Africa. Affiliated with the Mbale Regional Referral Hospital and the Uganda Ministry of Health, the institute focuses on addressing major public health challenges including malaria, tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, and neonatal sepsis. MCRI provides comprehensive infrastructure for Phase I through IV clinical trials, supported by a GCLP-compliant laboratory and a dedicated research ward.
