Company intelligence / Profile preview
McDonald Investments was a prominent regional investment banking and brokerage firm headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio. Founded in 1924 as McDonald & Company, the firm grew to become a major financial services provider in the Midwest, offering equity research, corporate finance, and wealth management services. While not a life sciences company itself, it maintained a highly active healthcare and life sciences investment banking group that advised on numerous mergers, acquisitions, and public offerings within the biotech and medical device sectors. In 1998, the firm was acquired by KeyCorp and was eventually integrated into KeyBanc Capital Markets, where its industry-specific expertise continues to operate.
