McGan Technology

McGan Technology was a U.S.-based medical device company focused on electrosurgical test equipment used in sterile processing and surgical device safety workflows. Its best-known products were handheld insulation integrity testers for laparoscopic and bipolar electrosurgical instruments, designed to detect pinholes, cracks, and coating defects that could contribute to inadvertent tissue burns or electrical safety issues. The company served hospital central sterile and instrument care markets rather than developing therapeutic drugs or clinical-stage biotech programs. McGan Technology was acquired by Healthmark Industries in July 2021, after which its product line continued to be distributed under Healthmark.
