McGaw Laboratories

McGaw Laboratories was a prominent American medical products company specializing in intravenous (IV) solutions, infusion pumps, and clinical nutrition. Founded by Foster McGaw, the company became a cornerstone of the American Hospital Supply Corporation and was instrumental in advancing fluid therapy standards through innovations like non-PVC containers. Following a series of corporate transitions involving Kendall and IVAX Corporation, McGaw was acquired by B. Braun Medical in 1997 for approximately $330 million. Today, its legacy and manufacturing infrastructure continue as a core part of B. Braun's North American infusion therapy and pharmacy operations.
