Medical Device Technologies (MDT) was a specialized medical device company focused on the development and manufacture of high-quality biopsy instruments and soft tissue sampling systems. The company was well-known for its proprietary biopsy needle technologies, including the Achieve and Temno product lines, which are widely used in oncology and radiology for diagnostic procedures. MDT's products were designed to provide clinicians with precise, reliable samples while minimizing patient trauma. In 2006, the company was acquired by Becton Dickinson (BD) to strengthen its global position in the biopsy market. Today, its core technologies continue to be marketed under the BD brand.
