The company was founded in 2016 in California and built capabilities spanning balloon design, prototyping, pilot production, coating, assembly, and scale-up manufacturing. Its products support a broad set of interventional applications, including cardiovascular, neurovascular, structural heart, peripheral vascular, urology, and general surgery. MediBalloon was acquired by Medeologix in November 2022 and now operates as part of the Medeologix platform, which offers integrated development-to-mass-production services with U.S. and Taiwan manufacturing support.
