Medical Center of Lancaster was a 90-bed acute care hospital based in Lancaster, Texas, serving the southern Dallas County area. Established in 1982, the facility provided comprehensive healthcare services, including emergency medicine, intensive care, and surgical procedures. In 2004, the hospital was acquired by Merit Health Systems, a private hospital management company, and was later known as Lancaster Regional Hospital. Although the original company name is no longer in active use, the physical facility continues to operate under new ownership as Crescent Regional Hospital. The institution has been involved in various healthcare networks and group purchasing organizations to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
