Medical Device Consultants, Inc. (MDCI) was a prominent contract research organization (CRO) and regulatory consulting firm dedicated to the medical device and diagnostic sectors. Established in 1980 and based in North Attleboro, Massachusetts, the company offered a full suite of services including clinical trial management, regulatory submissions, quality assurance, and compliance consulting. MDCI supported hundreds of clients globally, facilitating over 600 successful 510(k) submissions and numerous Pre-Market Approvals (PMAs). In 2011, the company was acquired by Aptiv Solutions, which was later integrated into ICON plc, a global provider of drug development and commercialization services.
