Medical Diagnostic Innovations (MDI) was a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) that specialized in the medical device and diagnostic industries. Based in New Brighton, Minnesota, the company offered a full suite of services including product design, engineering, prototyping, and large-scale manufacturing for global healthcare clients. MDI was particularly noted for its technical expertise in developing complex diagnostic instruments and the associated disposable cartridges used in point-of-care (POC) testing. The company's facilities were ISO 13485 certified and equipped for high-precision injection molding and cleanroom assembly.
