Medical Discoveries, Inc. was a development-stage biopharmaceutical company that focused on the research and commercialization of anti-infective and wound-healing therapeutics. The company's core technology was MDI-P, a proprietary electrolyzed saline solution designed to treat a variety of infectious diseases, including HIV/AIDS and cryptosporidiosis. MDI-P was hypothesized to work through oxidative mechanisms to eliminate pathogens and stimulate the immune response.
