Founded in 1995 and based in Germany, the company is best known for its HexaPOD robotic couchtop and iGUIDE tracking systems, which enable six-degree-of-freedom adjustments to ensure accurate tumor targeting during radiotherapy. The company's technology is a global market reference for stereotactic radiation therapy (SRT) and image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT). After being acquired by Elekta in 2005, it was subsequently taken over by the 3C-Carbon Group in 2020, where it continues to operate as a specialized medical technology division.
