Medical Intelligence (now 3C-Medical Intelligence) is a leading developer and manufacturer of advanced medical devices specializing in high-precision patient positioning and immobilization for radiation oncology. Founded in 1995 and based in Germany, the company is best known for its HexaPOD robotic couchtop and iGUIDE tracking systems, which enable six-degree-of-freedom adjustments to ensure accurate tumor targeting during radiotherapy. The company's technology is a global market reference for stereotactic radiation therapy (SRT) and image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT). After being acquired by Elekta in 2005, it was subsequently taken over by the 3C-Carbon Group in 2020, where it continues to operate as a specialized medical technology division.
