Medical Positioning is a commercial-stage medical device company focused on specialty beds, tables, chairs, and related positioning equipment used in diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures. Founded with the launch of the EchoBed in 1988, the company develops ergonomic and bariatric platforms intended to improve patient positioning, staff ergonomics, workflow, and imaging quality across cardiology, vascular, radiology, breast imaging, surgery, pain management, and speech pathology. Its portfolio includes products such as EchoBed X, Stress EchoBed, HUT and RR HUT tilt tables, UltraScan Versa tables, VasScan Table X, UltraMamm, Ultra DBI, GSPM Table, MultiView, and Cath Ergometer. Medical Positioning operates from Lenexa, Kansas and serves domestic and international markets. The company has been acquired by Altimate Medical but continues to operate as a separate brand/entity.
