Company intelligence / Profile preview
MedicInvent AB was a Swedish medical technology company primarily known for developing the InvenJet, a needle-free jet injection system designed for the delivery of vaccines, insulin, and other liquid pharmaceuticals. Founded in 1998 and based in the Lund/Helsingborg life science cluster, the company focused on improving patient compliance and safety by eliminating needle-stick injuries and phobia. The InvenJet technology utilized high-pressure liquid streams to penetrate the skin, offering a potential alternative to traditional syringe-based delivery for biologics. Despite its innovative drug delivery platform, the company faced financial difficulties and its bankruptcy was concluded in 2013.
