Medicontur has over three decades of experience in developing and manufacturing high precision intraocular lens systems for the treatment of cataracts and other ocular diseases. Their products are widely used globally with millions of lenses implanted. The company’s portfolio includes hydrophilic and hydrophobic IOLs—monofocal aspheric, toric, standard monofocal—as well as capsular tension rings, PMMA implants, injection systems for IOL delivery, and veterinary implants. Products are distributed in more than 60 countries through a global network.

No clinical trial results are published directly; however their devices are CE-marked and commercially available.

Pipeline breadth includes ongoing R&D in optics technology but specific investigational programs or new device launches under development have not been detailed publicly.
