Medifarm

Medifarm (later renamed Tikun Australia) was the first Australian medical cannabis company to be licensed by the federal government to cultivate and manufacture medical cannabis. Founded in 2015 and based on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, the company established an exclusive partnership with Israeli medical cannabis pioneer Tikun Olam to access clinically proven cannabis strains. Medifarm focused on providing high-quality, locally grown cannabinoid medicines for patients suffering from conditions such as chronic pain, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and PTSD. In July 2022, the company entered voluntary administration due to financial difficulties.
