Medisch Laboratorium Noord

Medisch Laboratorium Noord (MLN) was a prominent Dutch contract research organization and central laboratory specializing in clinical trial services for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Established in 1986 and headquartered in Emmen, the company provided comprehensive bioanalytical, clinical chemistry, and hematology services to support Phase I through Phase IV clinical trials. MLN was recognized for its expertise in global specimen logistics, data management, and high-quality analytical testing. In 2006, the company was acquired by the global CRO QPS (Quality Pharmaceutical Services), which integrated MLN's facilities into its European bioanalytical and clinical operations. The site in Emmen continues to serve as a key hub for QPS's bioanalytical and central laboratory services.
