Medly Health

Medly Health was a U.S. digital pharmacy company that operated Medly Pharmacy, a full-service pharmacy platform offering same-day prescription delivery, insurance claim processing, refill management, and patient support services. The business combined software-enabled pharmacy operations with both digital fulfillment and, after its acquisition of Pharmaca, a brick-and-mortar retail footprint. Medly expanded rapidly during the COVID-19 era and raised substantial venture financing, but filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in December 2022 amid a liquidity crisis and accounting irregularities; its cases were converted to Chapter 7 in April 2023. The company is now defunct, and in September 2024 the SEC charged former executives with allegedly defrauding investors by overstating revenue and using fake prescriptions. Medly is healthcare-related, but it was not a therapeutics developer and did not have a drug pipeline in the biotech/pharma sense.
