MedMelior is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing tolimidone (MLR-1023) for metabolic and neurological disorders. Tolimidone is a first-in-class small molecule that acts as a selective activator of Lyn kinase, a member of the Src family of tyrosine kinases. This mechanism enhances insulin signaling pathways, offering a novel approach to treating Type 2 Diabetes by improving insulin sensitivity without the common side effects of weight gain or hypoglycemia.
