MegaPro Biomedical has three main clinical-stage programs: MPB-1514, an injectable iron nanoparticle formulation for iron deficiency anemia with Phase IIa completed; MPB-1523, a nanoparticle-based MRI contrast agent for hepatocellular carcinoma diagnosis with Phase II completed and preparing to address FDA questions before a planned Phase III trial application; MPB-1734, a novel anticancer nanomedicine currently undergoing early clinical trials. The company also has an imaging agent MPB-2043 in investigator-initiated trials targeting lymph node staging in head and neck cancer. Preclinical data show promising efficacy especially when combined with immunotherapy.
