MegaSphere is a Seattle-based biotechnology company focused on developing next-generation T-cell therapies for the treatment of cancer and other serious diseases. Founded by industry veterans from Juno Therapeutics and Lyell Immunopharma, the company leverages a proprietary platform designed to enhance the fitness, persistence, and potency of engineered T cells. MegaSphere aims to overcome current limitations in cell therapy, such as T-cell exhaustion and manufacturing scalability, by optimizing the metabolic and functional state of the cells. In May 2024, the company emerged from stealth with a $75 million Series A financing round led by ARCH Venture Partners. The company is currently advancing its internal pipeline through pre-clinical development toward clinical validation.
