Melbourne Internal Medicine Associates (MIMA) was a large, multi-specialty physician group based in Melbourne, Florida, serving the Space Coast region. Founded in 1969, the organization grew to include over 100 physicians and 1,000 employees, offering a wide range of services including primary care, oncology, cardiology, and diagnostic imaging. MIMA operated as an integrated healthcare delivery model, providing comprehensive outpatient care and laboratory services. In February 2013, the group was acquired by Health First, a non-profit community healthcare system, and was subsequently integrated into the Health First Medical Group.
