Meos is a biotechnology company dedicated to transforming the field of organ transplantation through its proprietary Multi-Ex-Vivo Organ Support (MEOS) platform. Spun out from the University of Michigan, the company develops advanced perfusion systems designed to maintain donor organs in a functional, physiological state outside the human body. This technology aims to extend the preservation window for organs and provide a critical opportunity for the assessment and rehabilitation of marginal grafts that would otherwise be discarded. By significantly increasing the pool of viable donor organs, Meos seeks to reduce transplant waitlist mortality and improve long-term outcomes for patients with end-stage organ failure.
