Merck Selbstmedikation was the consumer healthcare division of Merck KGaA, a leading science and technology company based in Darmstadt, Germany. The division specialized in over-the-counter (OTC) medicines and nutritional supplements, managing a portfolio of globally recognized brands such as Neurobion, Nasivin, and Femibion. Its products primarily addressed therapeutic areas including respiratory health, pain management, and maternal nutrition. In December 2018, the business was acquired by Procter & Gamble for approximately $4.2 billion (€3.4 billion). Following the acquisition, the division's operations and brands were integrated into P&G Health.
