Mestastop

Mestastop is an oncology-focused biotechnology company dedicated to understanding and preventing cancer metastasis, which is responsible for 90% of cancer-related deaths. The company has developed three proprietary, patent-protected platforms—METAssay®, METSCAN®, and METVivo®—which combine wet-lab biology, genetic engineering, and machine learning to dissect metastasis into 30 distinct biological steps. By focusing on the "adaptation" phase of cancer cells in secondary microenvironments, Mestastop identifies novel first-in-class targets and repurposes existing non-oncology drugs to delay metastasis.
