Metastron

Metastron is a preclinical-stage biotechnology company focused on developing first-in-class small molecule therapeutics to prevent and treat cancer metastasis. The company's lead program targets S100A4, a calcium-binding protein that plays a critical role in the ability of cancer cells to migrate and colonize distant organs. By inhibiting the S100A4 pathway, Metastron aims to block the metastatic process, which is responsible for approximately 90% of cancer-related deaths.
