Mettrum Health

Mettrum Health was a leading Canadian producer and vendor of medical cannabis under the Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR). The company was known for its proprietary "Mettrum Spectrum" system, which categorized medical cannabis products by color to simplify the selection process for physicians and patients based on THC and CBD levels. Mettrum operated multiple licensed production facilities in Ontario and was one of the first companies to receive a license from Health Canada. In January 2017, the company was acquired by Canopy Growth Corporation in an all-stock deal, significantly expanding Canopy's market share and production capacity. Following the acquisition, Mettrum's operations were integrated into the Canopy Growth brand portfolio.
