MicroBiopharm Japan (MBJ) is a specialized biopharmaceutical CDMO and API manufacturer focused on microbial fermentation and bioconversion technologies. Spun off from the Pharmaceutical Chemical Division of Mercian Corporation in 2011, the company leverages over 80 years of heritage expertise to produce highly potent active pharmaceutical ingredients, including anthracycline anti-cancer agents and Vitamin D derivatives. MBJ provides comprehensive services from process development to commercial GMP manufacturing for small molecules, recombinant proteins, peptides, and plasmid DNA.
