MICRODYN-NADIR

MICRODYN-NADIR was a German membrane technology company focused on filtration products for water, wastewater, and industrial process applications rather than therapeutics. The business developed and manufactured membrane products and modules across microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, reverse osmosis, and membrane bioreactor technologies. It served municipal, industrial, life science process, desalination, and other fluid treatment markets. MANN+HUMMEL acquired full ownership in 2015, and in 2021 the MICRODYN-NADIR business was rebranded as MANN+HUMMEL Water & Fluid Solutions, now presented as MANN+HUMMEL Water & Membrane Solutions. For biotech analysts, this is best understood as an industrial/life-science-enabling filtration and process technology business, not a drug developer.
