Overview

MicroQuin has developed a first-in-class small molecule therapeutic that targets TMBIM6, an intracellular environment regulator activated in cancer cells. Preclinical results show the drug induces rapid death of cancer cells across multiple tumor types while sparing healthy cells. The approach is also being explored for neurodegenerative and traumatic brain injury indications based on findings from space-based research using 3D cell cultures on the International Space Station.
