MICYRN

MICYRN (Maternal Infant Child and Youth Research Network) is a Canadian federal not-for-profit organization and Academic Research Organization (ARO) that coordinates high-quality health research in maternal and child health. Founded in 2006, the network links 21 maternal and child health research member organizations based at academic health centers across Canada and is affiliated with over 25 practice-based research networks. MICYRN provides a comprehensive suite of clinical trial services, including protocol development, regulatory submission assistance, quality assurance, monitoring, and data management. By providing a centralized national infrastructure, MICYRN facilitates multi-center clinical trials and removes barriers to conducting research in the maternal-child space. The organization supports both investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored studies, playing a critical role in the Canadian clinical trials ecosystem.
