Midtown Medical Center

Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown, formerly known as Midtown Medical Center, is a leading tertiary care hospital and regional trauma center located in Columbus, Georgia. As a 583-bed facility, it provides a wide range of specialized medical services, including advanced cardiovascular care, oncology, and high-risk obstetric services. The center is home to a Level II Trauma Center and the region's only dedicated children's hospital, serving a multi-county area in Southwest Georgia and East Alabama. Following its acquisition by Piedmont Healthcare in 2018, the institution continues to operate as a major teaching hospital with numerous residency programs and clinical research affiliations.
