Mikroliz BioTechnology

Mikroliz Biotechnology is a preclinical-stage biotechnology company based in Ankara, Turkey, operating within the Gazi University Technopark. Founded in 2015, the company is dedicated to combating multidrug-resistant (MDR) bacterial infections and superbugs through the development of therapeutic bacteriophages and lytic enzymes. Mikroliz has established the Mikroliz Therapeutic Bacteriophage Bank (MTBB), which houses over 1,500 characterized phages targeting ESKAPE pathogens (Enterococcus faecium, Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Acinetobacter baumannii, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Enterobacter spp.). The company's proprietary pipeline includes phage-based therapies and recombinant lytic proteins designed for personalized clinical applications and hospital infection control.
