Milkhaus Laboratory

Milkhaus Laboratory was a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company specializing in low-dosage medicines with minimal adverse effects. It completed several FDA-, USDA-, and IRB-authorized clinical evaluations for respiratory, urologic, and oncologic disorders. Its lead programs included MLI 1018 for otitis media and chorionic gonadotropin targeting LHCGR for prostatitis and myelodysplastic syndromes; both were discontinued. The company licensed technology to Élan Corporation for Alzheimer’s disease trials, and its nutraceutical product Mucolyxir was licensed to Allergy Research Group. The company ceased operations after shifting focus toward nutraceuticals in 2004.
