Company intelligence / Profile preview
Milko was a Swedish dairy cooperative that operated primarily in the central and northern regions of Sweden. The company was known for producing a wide range of dairy products, including milk, yogurt, and cheese, under its own brand. In 2011, Milko faced significant financial challenges and was subsequently acquired by Arla Foods, the largest dairy cooperative in Scandinavia. Following the acquisition, most of Milko's operations and brands were integrated into Arla's portfolio, effectively ending its independent existence.
