Millenia Hope BioPharma (MH-B) was a Canadian biotechnology company that specialized in the discovery and production of plant-derived therapeutics using its proprietary Phytomics Technologies platform. A subsidiary of Millenia Hope Inc., the company focused on developing affordable treatments for major infectious diseases, most notably its anti-malarial candidate Malarex (MMH 18). MH-B also conducted research into HIV RNase H inhibitors and maintained a large library of phytochemical fractions for high-throughput screening. Despite establishing a significant manufacturing and R&D facility in Kirkland, Quebec, the company faced regulatory scrutiny and financial challenges, eventually becoming inactive.
