Mimetis Biomaterials developed next-generation synthetic bone grafts that closely mimic the mineral phase of human bone. Their flagship products—MimetikOss granules and custom-made, patient-specific implants—are used in dental, craniomaxillofacial, and orthopedic surgeries. The company’s proprietary low-temperature manufacturing process yields highly porous materials that promote vascularization and integration with host tissue. Clinical adoption has been strong in Spain since at least 2016 under the brand name "MimetikOss", now commercialized globally as "creos syntogain" by Nobel Biocare following acquisition. No clinical trial data are published; these are CE-marked medical devices with established clinical use for guided bone regeneration procedures.
