Mini-Mitter is a medical device company that pioneered the development of actigraphy and physiological telemetry systems. The company's flagship products include the Actiwatch, a gold-standard wearable for monitoring sleep-wake cycles and physical activity, and the E-Mitter, an implantable telemetry device for laboratory research. These technologies are widely utilized in clinical sleep medicine, circadian rhythm research, and pharmaceutical drug development. In 2005, Mini-Mitter was acquired by Respironics, which was subsequently acquired by Philips in 2008. Today, its legacy products continue to be integrated into the Philips Respironics portfolio.
