Company intelligence / Profile preview
The Minnesota AIDS Project (MAP) was a prominent non-profit healthcare and service organization based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, dedicated to supporting individuals living with HIV/AIDS. Founded in 1983, it grew to become the state's largest provider of HIV-related services, offering comprehensive case management, legal assistance, transportation, and housing support. The organization also played a critical role in public health through extensive prevention education, outreach, and HIV testing programs. In 2018, MAP merged with the Rainbow Health Initiative to form JustUs Health, which later rebranded as Rainbow Health. For over three decades, the organization served as a cornerstone of the regional response to the HIV epidemic before its successor entity ceased operations in 2024.
