Company intelligence / Profile preview
ClearWay Minnesota, originally established as the Minnesota Partnership for Action Against Tobacco (MPAAT), was an independent non-profit organization dedicated to reducing the harm caused by tobacco in Minnesota. Founded in 1998 as a result of the state's landmark tobacco settlement, the organization focused on funding tobacco-related research, advocating for public health policies, and providing cessation services. Its most prominent initiative was QUITPLAN Services, which offered free tools and support to help residents quit smoking and chewing tobacco. As a life-limited organization, ClearWay Minnesota successfully fulfilled its mission and officially sunsetted in December 2021, transitioning its remaining advocacy and cessation efforts to the Minnesota Department of Health and other partners.
