Mirada Solutions was a medical imaging software company that specialized in the development of advanced image fusion and registration technologies. Spun out from the University of Oxford in 2001, the company's software enabled the precise alignment of multi-modal diagnostic images, such as PET, CT, and MRI. These tools were critical for oncologists and radiologists to accurately localize tumors and monitor treatment response by combining functional and anatomical data. The company's flagship Fusion7D platform became a benchmark in the industry for clinical image analysis. Mirada Solutions was acquired by CTI Molecular Imaging in 2003, and its technology was subsequently integrated into Siemens Healthineers' molecular imaging portfolio.
