miraDry

The miraDry system uses microwave/thermal energy to permanently eliminate sweat and odor glands as well as hair follicles in the underarms. It has FDA clearance for primary axillary hyperhidrosis, odor reduction, and permanent underarm hair removal. Clinical studies report an average of ~82% sweat reduction at one year post-treatment with lasting results; most patients require only one or two treatments. Over 360,000 procedures have been performed globally.
