Modul-Bio

Modul-Bio is a French life science software company focused on informatics and traceability solutions for biobanks, biological resource centers, cohort studies, research centers, and related diagnostic and biotechnology users. Founded in 2003 and headquartered in Marseille, the company develops commercial products including MBioLIMS BioBanking for biospecimen lifecycle and data management, MBioLABEL for barcode-based sample identification and traceability, and eMBioBANK for web-based publication and sharing of biospecimen collections. Its offerings are used to manage sample reception, processing, storage, genealogy, shipment, and associated data across single-site and multi-site environments. In December 2025, Modul-Bio was acquired by Comet Software, with management reported to remain in place.
