Mon Health System

Mon Health is a West Virginia-based nonprofit regional health system and healthcare provider centered in Morgantown. Historically organized as Mon Health System, it was formed in 1982 as the parent organization for Mon Health Medical Center and later expanded to include Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital, Mon Health Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital, and Mon Health Marion Neighborhood Hospital. The organization delivers commercial-stage healthcare services across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, primary care, surgery, oncology, cardiology, orthopedics, diagnostics, and related community health offerings. Mon Health merged with Charleston Area Medical Center in 2022 to form Vandalia Health, and the Mon Health facilities continue to operate under the Mon Health brand within that larger system. The business is best characterized as a provider health system rather than a drug-development biotech or pharmaceutical company.
