Overview
Mucosis’s lead product SynGEM®, a stabilized recombinant intranasal vaccine against RSV, entered Phase I human proof-of-concept studies in 2016 at Imperial College London. The trial was supported by €3.4 million from the Wellcome Trust and involved 36 volunteers to assess antibody production. The company has also developed PneuGEM® (pneumococcus) and FluGEM® (influenza), with FluGEM® serving as a successful proof of concept in humans for the Mimopath platform[2][5]. No recent late-stage results are available.
