Mylan Specialty was the branded specialty pharmaceutical division of Mylan N.V., focusing on respiratory, allergy, and psychiatric therapies. The company was most notably the marketer and distributor of the EpiPen Auto-Injector, a life-saving treatment for severe allergic reactions. Its portfolio also included other branded products such as Perforomist and various nebulized treatments for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. In 2020, Mylan merged with Pfizer's Upjohn business to form Viatris, leading to the integration of Mylan Specialty's operations into the new global entity. The division was recognized for its expertise in drug-device combination products and specialty medicine commercialization.
