NAMI Idaho

NAMI Idaho is the state chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation's largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness. Based in Boise, the non-profit provides essential advocacy, education, and support services through a network of local affiliates across the state. The organization offers evidence-based programs such as NAMI Family-to-Family, NAMI Peer-to-Peer, and NAMI Connection support groups, all of which are free to the public. NAMI Idaho focuses on reducing the stigma surrounding mental health, improving access to care, and influencing state-level policy to better serve the mental health community. Their work also includes training law enforcement through Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) programs and providing educational presentations in schools and workplaces.
